Charger cable can reduce speed to charge your mobile

Charger cable can reduce speed to charge your mobile

Everyone knows about the common facts of charging mobiles like to use cable/charger of the original company because it can damage your mobile battery...and if your mobile supports fast charging then use a fast charger.

But have you ever thought about cables that can also play an important role in charging your mobile? If you know then comment below the post, YES! do you know guys by using other cables which is not suitable for your mobile can decrease charging speed or you can't charge your mobile.

If anyone wants to charger their mobile Ex. supports micro USB then they will use any micro USB cables which they are getting. Similarly as like for USB Type-A, B, C, Dash, VOOC ...also. If you have the best charger of one of the best company but if your charger cable is worst then there will be effective in the charging speed of your mobile.

Why this happens and what is the science behind it?

There is simple physics in it if you already know about resistance.

Formula:

Image result for resistance  formula
Resistance depends on the length of the conductor, cross-sectional area of the conductor and the temperature at which you are using it.

The cable which you are buying the cheap price of Rs.25, 50, 70...The quality of those cables is not up to the mark. They are very thin cables in which there is very little metal by which they are saving their costs and selling at a cheap price but they are highly resistive. So, even if your charger supplies the sufficient current but the cable of cheap quality are highly resistive. Therefore your mobile can take more time to charge.

As per the above formula if we increase the area of cable then its resistance decreases due to this it can supply more current because,

V=I/R

I=V/R

Where V=Voltage, I=Current, R=Resistance

Now let us understand in more deep about gauges in cables...

There are Four chords present in the cable of charger. Black, Red, White, and Green.
In which white and green are used for USB data transfer.
 Red is of 5V and black is GND (Ground).
In addition to this, there are also Gauges in a chord.

Generally, your cable has a gauge of 28 as shown in the figure in which current passes through it is 0.5A. But in the cable of a fast charger, it is of 24 Gauge and supplies current up to 2A. Which means that your mobile charges faster.

CONCLUSION: Use Charger + Cable both of good quality. If your mobile doesn't support fast charger and you are using then you won't be able to charge your mobile fast and vice-versa.
