Whatsapp bug November 2019 & it's temporary solution 

A new bug is found in Samsung and one plus flagship mobiles. In WhatsApp that it can drain your battery life up to 33-40%. Even if you are not using WhatsApp then also it is running in the background. Yet, No any patch came.

The high drain is obtained in the OnePlus 7T Mclaren.

• Some other users of Samsung are from Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy note 10 is reporting battery drain after installing a new WhatsApp update.
• As well as Google users Pixel and Xiaomi users also reporting the same.

The version which affected is 2.19.308. 

As recently a new feature of fingerprint sensor came in WhatsApp. If someone has access to your phone then also they can not open your WhatsApp. Maybe due to this update this bug is caused!

What are the solutions for it from reddit?

1. Reinstall WhatsApp!
2. Battery saver mode.

• *(This will restrict your background app. By doing this you can not receive notifications you have to open and check)

      3. Join Beta WhatsApp!

• *(Beta version may have a new bug as it is just for testing)
